Nokosi phone was purchased in April this year. Whatsapp application was used during summer. Now app says :"Update Whatsapp. Tap "download" to get latest version"
I can download file using link provided. File named Whatsapp.apk (33.25 Mb) downloaded.
Phone asked then: "Do you want to install this app? It will get access to:". I have two options: "Cancel" or "Install". I choose "Install". App installing.... Installed. Two options again: "Done" or "Open". I choose "Open" and got message about Whatsapp update again. So it's indefinite loop. Have done it several times, no progress.
I can't use Whatsapp application which was main reason for purchase.
What should I do, EE?

Yes, I did restarts/reboots. It doesn't help. As I understand, phone is running under Anrdoid OS with Google services removed. For me it looks like app can't get permission/s from OS during install process. There is no firmware update from EE available as well (and it doesn't look like it will be in a future).

Don't run it from the "Done" or "Open" prompt but from its icon on your Home screens or Apps.
