Active Watch 2 EE Network not supported

Hi,

 

I just purchased the Active Watch 2 through EE which came with a data plan.

 

Now when I try to connect it in the Samsung app it says "The EE Network is not supported on your watch".

 

Am I missing something here? Why isn't it working and why cant I connect it?

Hi @MaxDS,

 

The Galaxy Watch Active 2 on EE is currently only compatible with the Samsung handsets listed here.

I have tried to call but i started getting passed pillar to post so thought i would check with community first.

 

I'll just keep trying CS though.

So it looks like i have since been told that my phone, Pixel 4XL, is not compatible with Samsung watches.

 

The problem that i have as mentioned is that in the wearable app, which you need to download to set-up the watch, it says that "The EE network isn't supported on your watch". If this is the case, why are you selling data plans with this watch.

 

My device is compatible according to Samsung's website but the watch still shows a small icon with a sim-card and an "X" through it.

 

I have been informed by Samsung this means that the E Sim is inactive... after 2 hours of talking to customer support and live chatting with Samsung i am still no further in getting this issue fixed.

 

I just need some help from someone rather than both companies telling me it's the fault of the other.

Yeah i saw that.

 

The problem i had is that i was sold this over the phone where i was advised it would work with my phone.

 

Oh well... i have arranged for a return and will keep my fingers crossed for a Google watch or something.
