Hi has anyone else had this sort of tex come throught as i have been with EE for many years and this is the first for me?

Since the URL starts with “http”, then I’m pretty sure it’s a phishing link.

 

Please do not click on the link, and at the same time, please edit the post and remove the link.

It sounds very much like a fake text, that is trying to get your log in details. 

 

DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK

 

I would recommend you forward the text on to EE so that they can investigate. You can do so by doing the following:

 

Forward the text to 7726 its free of charge.

@MadCrazyBonkers: It is a typical phishing text trying to steal your MyEE creds. Ignore it! The link is already dead :)!

Awesome cheers thats what i took it as but still went to EE website direct and logged in as normal just to check.
