EE Perks - doesn't appear to give ant discount

Apparently EE offer a NHS discount through EE perks. I have no issue with getting the EE perk code but doesn't seem to work on any of the deals. Has anyone had any success with iphone 16 deals? i have tried a few different options without any joy. Seems a little misleading of EE
