Update: 05 December 2019
Our engineers have visited the site this week as planned to complete work on the mast.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been unable to gain access to the site to complete the improvements this week.
We are continuing to work with the site landlord to gain access to the mast and we will keep you updated on this post.
Update: 15 November 2019
At the beginning of December our engineers will be working on one of the masts within Aberdare, to improve coverage and ease congestions within the area.
We’ll update this post when the work is complete and ask you to provide feedback on the improvements in the area.
We’re aware that some customers in Aberdare are intermittently experiencing a degraded service currently.
This is due to congestion on our local site in Aberdare. We have recently completed work on several masts in the area to improve network performance in the area.
We are continuing to monitor performance and are looking at ways we can optimise our masts in Aberdare to improve coverage in the long term.
We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of this via this post.
In the meantime, if you’re an EE pay monthly customer with a compatible phone you can use WiFi Calling to make and receive calls and texts over a WiFi connection.
For details on how to set up this service, please see our WiFi calling help pages.
One of these options may help you find the answers you need.
