Ordered the Samsung S9+ on Saturday. Showed up as in stock online, got the email confirmation (with only a 9 digit number) and EE have kindly told me that my account is in credit - with exactly the same amount I paid for the handset. However, tracking won't work cause the confirmation number is obviously too short and there has been no emails or texts since.
Anyone able to help with more than just telling me to call customer service?

Can't answer that as you have excluded the only possible answer. No one on a user discussion forum could possibly know the status of your order.
