'Sorry, there has been a problem processing this request' message.

My phone is now due for a standard upgrade and I have chosen the silver iPhone 11 pro max 256GB, which it says it is in stock. I chose the plan which involves paying £80 upfront cost, so I follow through with all the steps and then it takes me to the page where I have to pay for the upfront cost. Without even letting me type in payment details, it comes up with the 'Sorry, there has been a problem Processing this request'. I have tried various other devices in my household and the same message appears.

I don't have any blocked cookies etc, I checked, as mentioned in a previous forum.

How do I go about making this upgrade without any issues please?
