Galaxy Fold ordered

I've just ordered the Galaxy Fold this morning - and was told it was pre-order.

 

The website is now saying "Buy now"

 

When can I expect to receive it?

ordered mine over the phone at 0830 now told 14 days, plus haven't received any sort of confirmation email 

I'm being told first come first served due to limited availability....

 

I hope ordering at 8.30 is somewhere at the front of the queue!

The current delivery estimates in the online shop state dispatch within seven days for the Cosmos Black and 14 days for the Space Silver.

@James_B  hmmmm this sounds more like a pre order when not being called one.

 

As am sure I was told today that EE don't even have stock of the phone, can you confirm this?

The phone was only released today. But stocks have gone.

 

They dont get them until the day so EE are at the mercy of Samsung.

II understand the phone was released today, so therefore delivery should be 1-2 working days if in stock.

 

However I believe that EE do not have any stock yet, so therefore why isn't this period classed as a pre-order as basically this is what it is appearing to be from a customer point of view.

 

Lack of knowledge on EE part, I can agree can be put down to Samsung. 

 

Did Samsung promise stock to EE today?

 

All I have had is a text message to confirm my order and I can track it on a certain Web page, however I haven't been given a order number to track so quite don't know how that works. 

 

I just hope that the phone itself makes up for all the confusion today has caused. 

Your lucky I ordered 10am and I haven't even had a email or text to confirm, would be nice to know.

Apparently it is going to be on a first come first serve basis
