New to EE rang 501 instead of 105 spoke to EE got charged £1.25

I am new to EE rang 501 twice by mistake instead of 105. Got charged £1.25 for 13 mins. How did I get to speak to customer service on the wrong number, more so  annoyed I got charged

150 is free from pay monthly and on pay as you go it only cost you 25p per call when you speak with customer advisor.

I am on pay monthly. Was surprised I got to speak with an advisor by calling on the wrong number.  Was an expensive mistake
