Itemised bill for legal purposes

Following a (false) customer complaint for using my phone at work I am facing disciplinary  action. Can I get an itemised bill for that day to prove it wasn’t used during work hours?

I didn’t know there wouldn’t be a record of calls in my account. I thought payed for itemised billing was for a paper copy each month.

Do I need to make a SAR to obtain the information to prove my innocence?

I understand a solicitor can request it but will only involve one if I am unfairly dismissed.

Re: Itemised bill for legal purposes

SAR doesnt cover calls you make. This isnt data on you

Only solicitor etc can request it if you dont have itemized Bill's on your account.

If you enable itemized Bill's now itll be £2.75 a month and will only be for future calls you make. It isnt back dated.

Re: Itemised bill for legal purposes

Itemised billing will only cover outgoing calls you have made that would otherwise not be listed as being within allowance. But that wouldn't prove your case as you could well have been on the phone answering a (free) incoming call.

Re: Itemised bill for legal purposes

Sure there would be CCTV of the time stated by this customer complaint.

Would show you on the phone or not.

Doubtful! Voda considers that it is (O2 & 3 are similar):

That makes sense! The pattern & timing of your own calls is personal to you & no one else.

Unfortunately EE is not as open/honest as its competitors 😞 .

@T_F : Feel free to submit a SAR to EE asking for your incoming calls logs w/out recourse to a solicitor.
