my account won't verify properly and i can't register my phone number

i need to get some more credit on my phone as it's run out (and is an old nokia by the way because i'm old fashioned, not tech savy and prefer real button's as opposed to a smart phone) and found i had to make a new account, i did but when i tried to register my phone number it just keep's saying "association-error", it's also worth noting that when i click to verify the account through the email it say's that i've verified on the like to the site the email send's me but it still say's i'm on step 2. i'm at my wit's end i just want to get some credit on a phone i barely use.

You can't create MyEE a/c's for T-M nos. T-M online access was closed on 28 Feb. See My T-Mobile online account access is closing on 28th February 2019 . You may continue to use the service with management of your a/c by text or phone only.

Hi @bakura

Welcome to the EE Community,

have you used the phone within the last 6 months ?

if you give the technical support team a call on 150 from your EE device or  0800 956 3146 from any other phone a advisor will be able to set up MyEE for you.

Thanks,

David 😊

Why? Did you have an old a/c in that no? If so, that's why you can't create a new a/c in the same no.

Re: my account won't verify properly and i can't register my phone number

so that's probably the reason the number isn't going through? still not explaining why it's not going to step 3 no matter how many time's i hit the verify account button in the email.

You may now only top-up by the text service, phoning up, ATM or top-up vouchers.
