Start Upgrade: Your Account's Closed

My 24 month contract is due to expire this month, when I log into My EE account I get the "Start Upgrade" option, I click on it, get redirected to "Unsupported Page" with the message "Your account's closed. To get our best prices, you need to be an EE customer.".

 

So it appears that I cannot do an upgrade online, or see any offers. I have done an online chat with tech support, who tried to claim that the message was due to it being close to Christmas (I didn't know computers celebrated Christmas), so consequently they were no help.

 

Please assist.

Welcome to the EE Community,

 

If you ring freephone 0800 317720 a advisor will able to reset your MyEE account they will also be able to put you through to a upgrade advisor who be able to process your upgrade for you.
