My EE app does not work, says problem with configuration of device.?

I can't get into the app just comes up a green splash screen the past updates haven't solved it.

Update on this, there is a fix coming out shortly.. It's to do with the app thinking some devices are rooted even though they ain't so hopefully a fix coming soon.

@blitzerray  Delete the app and then reinstall it.   Just to add the app will not work on a rooted device.

That does not work, tried it multiple times and still get the same error, it's so irritating I have an Xperia XZ.

Does this happen once the app has been downloaded and you try to access this?

 

Is your account on pay as you go or contract with us?

Yes it happens as soon as I open the app, does not go by the green screen, and I am on Pay Monthly Smiley Happy.

Just to check have you tried turning the WiFi off and using mobile data?

Yes done that also, just get the same message.. The past three updates have been the same.

Yes I've called up customer service about it a few times, they don't seem to have a clue.
