I had an existing My EE account associated with my primary email address that I set up for a previous device. I don't really use the old device any more so when I chose an EE sim card with my new phone I tried to log in to My EE to change the device associated with my account. I got an error message saying that my account was closed. I didn't receive notification of the closure as far as I'm aware but I assume the account was closed due to inactivity as I certainly didn't abuse the service in any way & it was a good couple of years since I last logged in. Fair enough, so I went to register again instead only to generate the error that there is already an account for this email!
Is there anything I can do to resolve this without using a different email address? I do have a couple of others but I check those occasionally rather than getting push notifications which could result in inconvenience down the line.
