Roaming

HiLast month I  stopped my data roaming add on as I was away in April. It was only £15 a month. But now when I put the add on back on it’s charging me £2.29 a day could someone please help me as way this has happened

I have been receiving a message from EE for the last 6 months sometimes 2 or 3 messages per day saying network problems in my area I've called EE but the messages just keep coming constantly I'm fed up with it now
