Unable to verify my Apple music subscription

I don't seem to be able to verify my free Apple Music subscription. I follow the link in the text received from EE but each time the Apple Music app says unable to verify. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the same thing keeps happening. Any help priovided would be great.

Hi @Sponge17,

 

I'm sorry that you have missed out on the EE Apple Music offer.

 

You would still be able to take Apple's three month trial if you sign up now.

Please can you try turning off WiFi and completing the verification over mobile data?

Unfortunately that didn't help, I see the message "You don't have Apple Music membership through EE "

Have you transferred a mobile number from another network?

 

When did you start/upgrade your contract?

Hi James, 

 

No I've been with EE many years now.  

 

Upgraded around the 4th January,  registered for the Apple Music on the 28th January and have been trying to get it working on and off since then. 

 

I went in to an EE store and they gave me a new sim to see if that made any difference.  That was a little over a week ago.

The Apple music subscription needs to be activated within 30 days of upgrading so it wouldn't let you complete the process at this stage unfortunately.

That's fustrating as I've been trying to get it working since 28/01, with little help in store.
