I have been using apple music for the past few months, also had my 3 months trial period. The support team said I can still have the 6 months free period, since it is exclusive to EE.
Anyways, I texted music to 150, and got the link https://itunes.apple.com/carrier, it took me to my Apple Music app to verify, but nothing has come up afterwards, eg no further instructions to connect my EE acount to my apple music, please help guys!

Hi. I've had a similar experience. I'm using an iPhone and already had a paid individual subscription to Apple Music for 1 month - due to end September 18th. I signed up to EE about 3 weeks ago.Sent message MUSIC to 150. It asked me to reply with YES if I wanted 6 months of Apple Music. So I replied. Got message back saying it was done. Click on the link. It verifys and then takes me to Apple Music.
Checking the the subscription details in my applie id account and the expiry date is still September 18. So I'm not sure if I'm subscribed for the free 6 months or not.

I haven't cancelled my existing subscription with Apple Music. Since my current subscription ends on the 18th September and isn't set to renew automatically I assume that that's when the EE free Apple Music will continue. If I had waited until my current subscription ended then I would have been to apply for the EE offer.
Ive just checked out my "Bolt On" options on the My EE app and it tells me that the Apple Music option has been applied and expires in March 2nd. So it all looks like it will be ok.

Got the same problem. Was running iOS 10 Beta, got told by Apple/EE that I have to downgrade. Downgraded and it still does the same lool

Yes, all is active on my account. They said to wait until my Apple Music subscription expires and try to activate it then.
Sounds ds like they were just trying to fob me off tbh.

Will I still get 6 months Apple Music for free though? It's active on my EE account now but not on the phone
