Are EE Data SIM Cards Locked to EE Smart Hubs?

Before I make any rash decisions replacing a 2 year old 5G Smart Hub, does anyone know if EE data SIMs can be used in non-EE 5G routers?

Yes, they can. As long as it's unlocked of course.
