We also had2find a house somewhere,i did this1nce as i had broke down,had2pop in2use there phone, things were so different back then,i couldnt call my dad as he was@work so thats what we do2get on in life, much better back then, nowadays with tech&phones in particular i find them increasingly more complicated, preferred the good old red callbox, not many about these days.i dont know how the older generation, elderly ppl get there head round these technological marvels of miniaturisation,it cant be helpful, saying that most have the old fashioned landline in there homes,

Hi and welcome to the community, @Profile closed. 🙂

I'm sorry to hear of your parent passing, that must have been terrible for you. It is brilliant to hear some of your hobbies and interests though. Although I can appreciate a beautiful car and drive myself, I've only got a basic knowledge of how cars work really. Just what I learned from playing Gran Turismo on my old games console.

We do have some phones that do cater to the older generation. Mainly the Doro 6520

Phone boxes aren't completely obsolete though. In Edinburgh, some have been fitted with additional kit in order to boost the 4G signal in busy areas during New Year festivities — typically at peak time for calls to loved ones.

It's great to have you here, I'm looking forward to seeing you around the community more. 🙂
