Hello @CJ-onee

Your query doesn't seem entirely clear - are you wanting to reset your phone as in, reboot it? Or master reset it?

I'm not clear what your Google account details have to do with a reset.

What phone do you have, and what problem are you having with it?

Hi bristolian,

Thanks for the reply.

I have a Samsung Galaxy J3(6) 8GB phone that is basically new.  We purchased it on a contract a couple of years ago on a business contract.  I am hoping to use the phone to stay in contact with my mother while she is self isoalting so was hoping to buy a sim only contract to use the phone.  I have tried a factory reset but when I restart the phone it takes me to a google account log in but I can't remember to email address or password.

Login from start:

Turn on phone

Select country

Connect to wifi (ok)

T&C (confirmed)

Checking information

Google Verify your account email or phone

I can't reset these account details as they have been lost a long time ago.

Well we can't tell you what your login details are, and no-one on here will be able to either.

If you try Android recovery and follow the "Forgotten email" link, I'd imagine there will be a "reset password" option a few steps further in.

I've never had cause to do this, so I can't vouch for how this works.
