How Would I Get a new phone but keep my number and son card?

I want to get a new phone, but I'd like to keep my number and maybe get a contract, is it possible to do that or would I have to get a new number?

@Cass25  if you take out a contract just tell customer services or the store  that you want to retain your number depending on how you take out the contract.

If you are due an upgrade then you can just upgrade to the phone you'd like.

This will keep the number and if the phone you choose has the same size sim card the sim card will be the same.

You can do this either online through your MyEE over the phone on 150 or in a store.

In store you don't get the 14 days cooling off period if you change your mind though.

Hi @Cass25

Welcome to the community. 🙂

Where is your number now? Is it on EE or is it on another network?

Either way, you can keep your number, but the process is a little different.

If you're on EE speak to our Mobile Care team on 150 and they'll run through the options with you.

If you're on another network, you'll need to ask them for a PAC code and take out a new contract with EE. We'll give you a temporary number until yours ports from another network.
