My phone has been stolen in Thailand. The police need the IMEA number to create a police report which is on the box at home. I can’t find anyway to acces this number online and I can’t get through to an advisor because of the time difference. I have spent a fortune chasing this issue up. Any advice would be appreciated. I don’t understand why EE don’t have online chat operators either so I can talk to someone without paying £1.80 per minute

Welcome to the EE Community.
I'm sorry to hear your phone has been stolen.
It's important to contact our Customer Care Team to report your phone stolen. They'll be able to block your SIM and phone so they can't be used and give you your IMEI number.
You can chat with the team online by logging in to My EE after 8am UK time.
Hope this helps.

This was helpful for all of about five minutes. I managed to get on to the
site to speak to an operator, they asked me for details about my account
number I refreshed the page and lost the chat box. Now I am unable to find
the chat to an operator option anywhere on the site. It is very
inconsistent I am constantly having the problem with EE customer services.
Now I need to wait god knows how long for the chat option to become
available again and start from scratch.
[Mod edit: Please do not post personal information such as your mobile number in this public forum. Thanks]

I'm sorry to hear you lost connection to our chat team.
If you log out of your account and back in, you should be offered another chat when an agent is available.
