Charges

Why have I been billed 54 pence for a “ picture” text moji, offered whilst texting, without first being informed there would be a ludicrous charge?

Hi @taylordog1

It's detailed in your contract terms and conditions. Did you not read the call/text charges section?

Thanks

This is unfortunately a function of how some phones convert messages - some emojis covert to a picture message.  On an android phone.. in your text settings go to 'more settings'  and choose 'Text messages'.  Change the input mode to 'Unicode' and this should stop this happening.

EE helpsite article on this subject is here

There's usually an on-screen warning on your phone before this happens, but that's not guaranteed.
