Im in Doncaster and mine's only just come back up this morning at 07:30, poor service from Tmobile I tried calling them yesterday and trying to get through on the options was terrible to find when I finally get through the line drops.

Good morning all,

 

I'm pleased to report that the broken fibre cable that was affecting data access for customers on T-Mobile plans has been fixed. Our engineering teams and a fibre splicing team worked through the night to migrate data from the broken fibre to a new cable that was installed near our switch site in West London.

 

We are still performing testing to ensure that the equpment is robust and everything is performing as it should. But I'm glad to hear your reports that the data service is back up and running.

The whole design of the internet is to be resilient, I do not believe that one cable being cut would stop all data from T-mobile getting in and out.  Someone is not being upfront here.

Hi all,

Just been on the phone to Customer Services (after enduring 10 minutes of One Direction et. al on hold) and was informed that the problem was fixed around 7pm last night.

Dubious, but if you're on an iPhone, going to Settings, General, Reset, Reset Network Settings seems to do the trick.

As to the reason behind complete lack of communication, I was informed that EE don't do that, they didn't want to get in touch because they didn't know who it was effecting.

What a joke, made my mind up for who I'll be going with for my next contact when the iPhone 6 comes out anyway!

It's working now. As the above user states- if you have an iPhone- go to settings, general then reset network settings. All other phones, just switch your phone off and SIM card for 1 minute! Happy browsing!! 🙂

hi, im not sure if this helps you much but it worked for me, try to add in your apn settings, in apn types section "internet", once i added this it started working straight away, please share your results. your apn type settings shoud look like this: http://qfs.mobi/f1583316

this trick works also for virgin media mobile customers as it uses ee mobile internet,checked

It will be a bit hit and mist with all the demand initally but it will settle down.




To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

Even after doing Network reset, data still not working here in Essex

I still can't get mine to work. Also I haven't recieved any iMessages since yesterday early morning. Does anyone know if I can expect these to come through when it is up and running or are they lost forever along with my patience with EE!
