It’s mad this is still happening 2 years later ..
even 2 weeks after payment made , trying to set up DD still says account overdue by £0.00.
I make manual payments and then sometimes try and set up DD but get this silly obvious system error every time.
overdue a fix EE , come on now 😉

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing this when trying to set up a Direct Debit.
We would expect this to be a straight forward process for our customers.
Do you have the latest version of the app?
Have you tried doing this via your EE account online?
If you have I would recommend speaking with our customer care team.
