I tried replying to a notification email but it didn't work & it replied telling me this email addy is only used for sending out notifications. Yet I've seen users posting from their phone.

Hi @XRaySpeX Have you tried clicking the reply option in the email footer?
The reply still appears out of order though, it must be a tricky one to fix!

I didn't see 1 altho' I looked for 1. I'll look closer next time.
I still don't see it after forcing your post as a Solution. Here's its footer:
Perhaps it's not put in Solution notifications but only posts, from which I'm unsubscribed being too many.

I get this at the bottom of notification emails...
The reply option opens my email with a to: email address for the topic in question

OK, that line does not appear in Solution notifications which are almost the only ones I subscribe for. Thanks, @chistery.

Hit the nail on the head!
The reply option does only appear in the reply notifications. The email itself can't be replied to but using the reply link that @chistery posted works 🙂
