2 accounts in the community 五

It appears that I have 2 accounts on here. I came to post about a scam text

message earlier and it wouldnt accept my saved password. Its offering both of my email addresses, and its not letting me sign into my original account in here...any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 2 accounts in the community 五

@Ravenslave could be deleted by Community staff but there's not much point. You'd just lose an historic post count of 19.

Re: 2 accounts in the community 五

@Ravenslave1 go to the login page and click the forgotten password tab which is at the bottom then reset your password to the account you want to use, once youve gained access to the account you want to use you can then delete the other account via the account profile.

@Ravenslave1 : You managed to post OK about a scam text message earlier under this nick. What was your other 1?

Re: 2 accounts in the community 五

Ive tried that. It still sends me back to this account. Both email addresses send me back to this account with different passwords.

@Ravenslave last posted here in March 2018, well before SSO was introduced. You sure you linked your other email addy with this nick when SSO came in in Aug. 2019?

Did you follow What should I do to get ready for single sign on between My EE and Community?

Re: 2 accounts in the community 五

At a guess, you have linked both your MyEE email addys with @Ravenslave1 . I know of no way to unlink 1 of them w/out deleting it & losing its attribution to your posts.

Your best bet is to leave it as it is as @Ravenslave1 . @Ravenslave 's posts no longer are of any interest as they are all archived.

Re: 2 accounts in the community 五

I probably have. Makes no difference, I suppose. The account will just sit inactive, unless you can delete it?
