You cannot if the option isn't available.

Settings - Call - Wi-Fi Priority On.
That's what it is with the LG5 I've got. Its likely to be that for the LG7, too. Then turn phone off and on again. Then select your Wi-Fi. Then try making the call.

Does How do I set up WiFi Calling? / LG work for you?

Thanks for your replies
I don't have the option in call settings like on the Lg5.
And because the Lg G7 Thinq wasn't purchased through EE themselves (as they don't supply it) it doesn't have the firmware needed for Wi-Fi calling.
I was hoping somebody might know how to put it on my device as I need it to work.

Where did you buy your handset from? Is it the UK/European version?
This service is also only available to pay monthly/ SIM only customers.
You would need to flash EE firmware if it's not available by default.
There is no reason why it shouldn't be available on any handset tbh as it's an android setting that the manufacturer needs to activate.

Yes, the handset is a UK brand.
How do I get hold of the EE firmware to download onto my phone?
I have tried to look at my old lg5 to see if I can take it off there but I can't see how to do it.
Many thanks in advance
