100 minutes add on

Hi All.

I've just tried to call 150 to purchase an add on, & find that I can't do it this way contrary to what it says on the EE webpage.

Why is that..?

I chose option 2

Thanks. 🙂

Re: 100 minutes add on

Is this on contract or PAYG?

Which EE webpage? What 100 mins add-on? Option 2 of what?

What does http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase when not connected to WiFi offer you?

Re: 100 minutes add on

Have you tried to get it by texting 100 MINS or 100 MINS WEEK to 150 for 30 days or 1 week respectively?

Using the EE Text Service is the far easiest way to manage PAYG.

Re: 100 minutes add on

Good Morning @Tiffin.

Have you managed to follow the advice provided by @XRaySpeX and try to text 150?

What does texting AL to 150 come back with?

Hi @Tiffin

He asked:

Have you tried to get it by texting 100 MINS or 100 MINS WEEK to 150 for 30 days or 1 week respectively?

Chris 🙂

Re: 100 minutes add on

Hi @Tiffin

You need to top up your number before getting this add on.

100 minutes for 7 days (£3) Text: 100 MINS WEEK to 150

100 minutes for 30 days (£5) Text: 100 MINS to 150

You need to be have at least £3 for a week add on or £5 for 30 days.

Thanks

Re: 100 minutes add on

Yes...but want to be able to pay for it by phoning 150 and it isn't giving the option.

Maybe it's a fault with ee.

If I explain that it's for my partners number and he can't text very well to read. That's why it would be better calling 150 but it's not there on the options.x

Re: 100 minutes add on

Hi there @Tiffin

If you call us on 150 from the phone or 07953 966 250 from another phone.

The call will cost 25p on a pay as you go phone to speak to our pay as you go team.

Thanks, Leanne 🙂

Re: 100 minutes add on

@Leanne_ T

So he has to pay from the top up balance to contact you ?? ,when the option should be there on the choices for either an add on or a pack.

It shouldn't just be that you can add it by text.

It says when you dial 150 "" to get a pack, extra data or minutes "

To be fair the option should be there.

Maybe this is something EE needs to look at. :smileysad: ???

If he tops up first, he'll be able to add the pack by phone or text or online.

Re: 100 minutes add on

He cant' do it by text, or online. That's the reason I've posted.

It's an "ADD ON" not a pack, & for some reason it can't be done by phoning.. :mansad:

Re: 100 minutes add on

Yes, but he doesn't know how to do it...he's really bad with dyslexia.

Would be just simple to do it by text etc but he can't. :mansad:

Can't you do it for him by text every month on his phone?
