ee broadband 300 mbps

i am with Bt on 300mbps and want to change. any of the broadband websites that tell you what deals i can get say i can get EE  fibre max 2 at 300mbps , however when i go onto ee website it says i can only get 76 mbps. i already have 300 with BT so whats going on ? and ideas ? why it says i can get 300 but EE say I CANT ?

Ah, yes, that confirms what you have found:

 

  1. You are currently getting 300 Meg WBC FTTP from BT but EE don't sell that.
  2. EE sell 300 Meg G.Fast as their BB Max products but it is not available at your location.
  3. So the best EE can offer you is 80 Meg VDSL which they sell as their BB.

There are various types of 300 Meg BB. BT does them all but EE only 1.

 

What does BT Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.
