Why do BT say I can get their Fibre 300mbs but EE only 5mbs and cant get fibre?

I can get BT fibre infinity 4 which is 300mbs with BT but can only get 5mbs standard broandband with EE and have over 12 months of my contract left. Openreach say my exchange is fibre enabled. Why cant EE see this or offer this service?

Yes, you can't any Fibre (FTTC) there at all from EE & it looks like there are no plans to do so in the future.

300 Meg Fibre is FTTP (Fibre to the Premises). EE just doesn't sell that product, just FTTC (Fibre to the Cab). You should be able to get better than 5 Meg on FTTC.

What does BT Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.
