Re: Why am i having spikes in my latency

@MajinHunter : That's not an unreasonable latency to your game server. Where are the spikes?

Please run a ping -n 30 185.60.112.157 .

Re: Why am i having spikes in my latency

As I explained in the question I don't know have to read this data. When I read on other forums and this one, they all ask for tracerts. The trouble is they are quite spontaneous while playing so it would be hard for me to catch them. I believe through what I've read is that the missing numbers could be a issue, also the large jumps in the 2nd and 3rd traces towards the end could be too. I'll give the ping trace a go this evening thanks

Re: Why am i having spikes in my latency

Tracert is really only useful for finding the route to the final node. The timings of the intermediate nodes don't become important until the time to the final node is unreasonably high. Servers are there to provide their service & not to respond to pings or treat them as low priority.

A lengthy ping run, as I requested, would be more useful in showing spikes.
