Very Slow fibre broadband

Our fibre has never been what id call fast, maximum speed around 15mbs, however the speed has recently dropped down to around 8mbs download and 0.2mbs upload.

Ive tried the EE support the advisor tried a few things but admitted he wasnt too clued up on why im having this problem. They have replaced the router and no difference, if anything is got worse.

Anyone else experienced speeds this slow for fibre?

My contract is nearing its end and im seriously considering moving to a rival if this cant be sorted.

Anyone got any advice as to what we can try next to solve this problem?

Thanks

Eddie

Re: Very Slow fibre broadband

Welcome to EE's Home Broadband Forum.

If you would like help with your speed or connection issues, please would you carry out the steps and provide the data as requested in the Need Help with Your Home Broadband Speed or Connection? sticky. This will enable us to diagnose the problem and advise you further.

What does BT Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.
