Smart Hub Bug - Unable to remove conected wifi devices

I am not able to remove unknown devices / named devices, by selecting “remove” in the advanced settings/my network admin pages of the router.

A factory reset does remove them all, however the remove option is there and is designed to work. I have asked EE to replicate the issue and provided screenshots and a PSR. I wonder if anyone on here that has multible devices connected can give it a go, to see if they can remove the connected devices without this issue.

Firmware version:

v0.00.24.06190-EE

Firmware updated:

28-Jul-2018

Kind regards

Steve

Thanks for testing that. Strange one, as to why I am facing the issue then.

Re: Smart Hub Bug - Unable to remove conected wifi devices

I have found it will let me remove the device if I turn the wifi off on the device first. When the wifi on the device is turned on again, the device reconnect and again shows in the router. Does this tie in with what you could see?

This issue is with my Smart Hub too. Devices selected for removal just stay put.

Hi @Blinkingflip,

Have you had a chance to speak with our Tech Gurus to see if they can help?

Thanks

Re: Smart Hub Bug - Unable to remove conected wifi devices

The new router is in place, the dropouts have disappeared and the hub manager is stable.

The software is working correctly.

The Apple AEXs work as they should, so for now at least, I am considering the replacement router as the fix.
