Netgear wifi extender and bright Box 1 wps issue


Not a question, just a tip after a couple of frustrating hours trying to get my new Bright Box 1 router to connect to a Netgear wifi extender. There is no obvious wps button on the router and the intelligent wifi button didn't make any connection. But, the Netgear solution works first time! Plug in your Netgear adapter, find the Netgear-ext wifi on your mobile phone, choose that wifi service and then it just steps you through the process of connecting it to the EE router after you create an account with Netgear. Wonderful!

Good tip!


The BrightBox 1 does have a WPS button, at the back next to the power socket.
