My internet light is continuously flashing orange on my new brightbox 2

How do i sort it I've tried resetting the router etc,

Welcome to EE's Home Broadband Forum.

Have you just joined EE BB or were you already with EE BB?

What does it say in the Internet section on the initial Status page of the BrightBox after you log in? Obscure your names in the BB Username but post the 1st 2 parts of the IP addy. This will tell us at which stage EE have got to.

Does the phone work? Do you get a dial tone? Does it announce your correct no. when you dial 1470 17070?

If you are on fibre with EE you sould not use the old white BT Modem. The EE brightbox connects directly into your filter or your filtered socket. The brightbox has a modem built in. I set mine up this way when I went live and recieved the flashing orange light.

 

If your on fibre make sure you are connected from far left socket when looking at the back of the brightbox directly to the filter. Gray socket to filtered socket.
