How can I manually select frequency channel for 2.4ghz network?

I've tried but can only find 3 options Channel:

My wireless frequency checker recommends channel 14

Re: Manual channel selection

With the EE SH you may only select channels 1, 6 or 11 for the 2.4 GHz band. These are the recommended channels by all the best radio guides.

If you want to be able to select from channels 1 to 13 get hold of an EE Brightbox or most generic ADSL/VDSL modem/routers.

Re: Manual channel selection

@Urbanspaceman: Which router do you have?

You'd best stick to channels 1, 6 or 11. They have the least overlap & all the best radio guides recommend them.

Re: Manual channel selection

Are you using a Japanese wireless frequency checker? Channel 14 is only available there & then only on 802.11b. I should ditch it from your phone!
