Landline. Not receiving calls

Hi, broadband is working fine but my landline won’t receive calls. Tried from other landlines and mobiles but it’s the same issue, it rings twice for the caller then it sounds as though someone picks up but doesn't say anything. Meanwhile it doesn't ring at all at this end. I can make calls from it no problem which makes me think the phone works. Any ideas what the issue is? Thanks

Does the phone announce your correct no. when you dial 1470 17070?

Ring the same no & ask for Ring-Back (Opt 1).

Hi, ok done that and nothing happens when I replace the handset....

 

Im assuming it should start ringing at that point? 

 

 

Yes, immediately. Report it to EE as not receiving incoming calls.

My landline not receiving incoming calls. Not ringing either. Any suggestions. Thanks

I am having same problem. Internet good. Mobile good. Outgoing landline calls good. Incoming landline calls not connecting. Landline not ringing at house on friends who have tested. Nothing. ????
