I am struggling to get Wi-fi connection at certain area at home.

I am struggling to get Wi-fi connection at certain area at home, having looked into this I bought a wi-fi extender from amazon but it is not extending my wi-fi because it does not support WEP security protocol. I have tried setting it up using ethernet cable but the problem is the same.

Does that mean I need a new Livebox at home? my current one is about 10 years old.

If you still have a Livebox ask EE for a modern replacement router.

What doesn't support WEP? Most devices today support WPA2.
