How much speed is needed to view TV content?

I was thinking to connect my TV but I would like to know how much download speed (MB) is required to watch HD content on TV. While, I will be running other portable devices. Your help is appreciated and I thank you in advance.

Re: How much speed is needed to view TV content?

It is generally thought that for streaming TV a BB speed of 4 Meg is sufficient for SD & 8 Meg for HD. With you being on Fibre you'll have no problem.
