My home phone and broadband was due to be connected today. My previous provider's broadband is still up and running, but the home phone is dead. I was trying to find some guidance on when the phone will be connected but can't find anything on the EE website except to say that they'll contact me when it's been done. I can't be without a home phone for too long as I have clients and dependent relatives who need to contact me. Many thanks for any guidance or advice - much appreciated.

Who was your previous ISP & phone provider? This may give some clue as to the route being taken for this migration?

I was just hoping for people to say that this always happens and not to worry! I was with Sky - their broadband is still working but the home phone is dead Many thanks for your help

Sorry, I'm not so interested in your EE order status, which is obviously not progressing, but in your previous providers that I enquired about.

Sorry, I missed it. With Sky being LLU more work than usual needs to be done at the exchange:
Looks like they're in the middle of 1 & not touched 2.
The completion date you've been given can be done anytime up to midnight but I can't see it happening.

Leave it till tomorrow. They are still within delivery window. Step 1 completed :). Now for Step 2. Good to see that they are actively working on your line. Midnight could be achievable.

Thanks for your help and advice. Edited my post above as the phone line is now connected. I'll set up the broadband tomorrow as the Sky one is still connected.

He was very helpful. My broadband is not yet working but hopefully it will be soon as Sky has now disconnected me. The home phone is fine.
