Home broadband / VPN

I connect to a system at home (from outside) that requires ports 1723 and 47.  This has worked fine for a long time, but today I am unable to connect.  It appears I can still reach port 1723 but not 47.  Has there been any recent change to home broadband which is blocking port 47?

Re: Home broadband / VPN

It looks like it's a problem with my client machine or local network hardware.

Re: Home broadband / VPN

No, there has been no change. EE block no ports.

Which BB do you have? Which router?

Re: Home broadband / VPN

Thank you for your reply.  It seems to be an intermittent problem.  The problem went away a few hours after I reported it.  Today it's come back again.  I've got the 38 Mbps fibre service with the Bright Box 2 router.
