It’s working ok on Mac devices. Could it be something to do with the 5G thing?

What 5G thing? Do you mean you have a Mobile BB router which runs over the 4G network?
Have you installed on Windows the Web Connector thing that comes on the device?

What Windows versions? What Windows devices?

Hello @andyosh have you restarted both the router and the PC affected? Is it still connecting to the router even though it is not showing up in your device list anymore?
The 5ghz band is the frequency of your Wi-Fi connection, the other more common frequency being the 2.4ghz band. The shorter wavelength 5ghz band has less range than the 2.4ghz band so if you are using it then try moving closer to the router.

Using the 5ghz band should be no different to using the 2.4ghz band except you can not wander as far away from the router because of the shorter wavelengths.
Are you connected to the router now? Is it the EE BB router you are using?

Hi, thanks for responding. I’ve restarted everything but no luck. The PCs aren’t connecting and are only registering the 5GHz connection.

Hi, I’m connected on my Mac and iPad only. I’m using the EE router that was sent to me

So you mean the PC isn't connecting to the router over WiFi?
Have you tried Ethernet to see if that works?

How far away is your Windows PC? Can you move it next to the router?
Press the intelligent wireless button on the top of your router to make it search for and choose the best channel then check your PC connection list again.
If you can access your router settings using your Mac or iPad here:
Then use this help page to check which band your router is set to:
It is unusual that your PC is only picking up the 5ghz connection and not the 2.4ghz connection it is usually the other way round.
Let me know if you need any help with the steps above.

Hiya, thanks for your help. I have tried everything you suggested and the PCs still don’t pick up either of the EE networks. Do I just need to change supplier?

Hi James, haven’t tried that but I wouldn’t be able to use a hard connection on the PCs anyway as they are in different parts of the house from the router

Thanks, I moved the router to another room and it started working on the PCs, however it disappeared again after a while, pressing the channel button on the bottom of the indicators on top of the router sometimes restores it for a short while..... Is this any help?
