Free 5gb data

I was promised an additional 5GB of mobile data for signing up to EE home broadband. When should this be allocated to the mobile account?

Hi,

 

It says on the data boost help page.

 

When will I get my data boost?

It can take up to 30 days after your home broadband account goes live for your boost to kick in.

We'll send you a text to let you know when it's done.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 250 from any other phone.

EE standard opening hours are 8am to 9pm weekday, 8am to 8pm on weekends.

As @Northerner correctly advised, it can take up to 30 days for the 5GB boost to be added to your account.

I transferred to a pay monthly sim yesterday and rang today to see if I was eligible for the 5gb databoost as I have had EE fibre over 18 months.  The boost was added within 5 minutes, so existing fibre BB customers are eligible. Very impressed with the customer service in this case.

If I’m already a broadband customer, can I still get a boost?

Yes, you'll need to re-sign up to a new broadband contract and we'll add it to your account.
