Fibre broadband

I've received my new fibre router & am now just waiting for notification of service commencement. I currently have the EE WiFi booster pack (Huawei Powerline Adapter & Devolo Wireless Powerline Adapter) on my existing standard broadband setup. Can I still use the booster pack with fibre broadband & if so, what do I need to do in order to achieve this? Thanks, in advance

Re: Fibre broadband

@CaptainChris: Your WiFi is independent of your BB. Powerlines may be used with any router. Other than getting a diff router your Powerlines may still be used & connected up just the same, into an Ethernet port of the router.

Re: Fibre broadband

Thanks for that, I've set up the fibre broadband but not sure whether I need to do something else with the WiFi Booster pack, as the original set up guide states that the "adapters have been paired specifically for each other and your own Bright Box router". The pairing of the adapters is OK of course, but do you happen to know if these adapters provided with the Bright Box will simply now work with the fibre router? Thanks again.

Re: Fibre broadband

A router is a router! Just cuz you brought branded products from an EE shop they shout out all about Brightboxes but it is meaningless.

You ought to able to test them now with the EE SH even w/out BB.
