Hi
We are thinking of moving from Virgin to EE Fibre Plus Broadband, is is the connection fibre ?
Currently we are on 100mg, but Virgin have put the cost of our up to £71.31 a month . So time for a change !
If we need a new phone line , can we dictate where the line terminates . As most of our PC ect are in a back room & need a wired connection to them . So would like the phone line to terminate at the back of the house
Thanks
Joe

EE Fibre BB, like most other providers except Virgin, is Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) & then your copper landline to your home. It has a max. sync speed of 80 Megs depending on how far you are from the cab.
What does BT Broadband Availability Checker estimate using the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your address.
You should be able to ask the installing eng. where to terminate your landline master socket within reason.

Hi
Thanks for the info, we do have a "old" Bt. line . But it's our hall, so not good for the equipment that need a hardwiring.

Good! You should get near the top of the FTTC range to 80 Meg.
The eng. might be willing to move the old master socket while he's activating it.
One of these options may help you find the answers you need.
