EE early cancellation charge

I moved house over Christmas, with all the hassle, didn't have time to sort out the good old broadbrand.

The plan was to move the line over to my new house next month, and keep paying the monthly charge until then, but now I've been hit with a £73 early cancellation charge, which I have to pay.

I accept it was my fault for not alerting them to the fact, but as I'm never missed a payment, I thought they'd be good enough to allow me keep paying and move the service.

Is there anything I can do? Or am I just going to have to pay it?

Re: EE early cancellation charge

No, the new occupants of your old home have either cancelled the line there or migrated it to another provider, as they are entitled to. Hence cancelling your contact early. You should have taken care of this before moving.

You could contact EE for BB at your new place & see if they will take into account your previous contract.
