My phone does not show up under ‘currently connected devices’ when I go to router settings but is still somehow connected to the internet, it is just slow.
I’ve restarted the router from the browser, it shows up in the devices and becomes fast until a few minutes later it disappears. Still connected but becomes slow.
I assume the two issues are connected. Any way to fix this?.

Have you checked the phone settings? It maybe wifi goes into sleep when the phone does.
You haven't said which phone you have.

The ‘Currently connected devices’ section of the Brightbox is unreliable. It doesn't always show all devices & shows devices no longer connected.
