Connecting a WiFi extender bg socket to router

Hi. I've a bright box 2 ee router,2 days ago I had electrician install a British general wifi extender power socket as the signal is weak upstairs, I can't get it to connect to my network at all. Tried the web browser way, qr code way. Any help would be great...before I go out & buy a plug in extender for the extender!! Ty

Did you follow The BG easy installation manual ? We can't tell you any more than the manufacturer does.

 

You did connect it to the BB2's 2.4 GHz SSID? This extender is only single band.

I did follow allll the instructions..you just saved me from buying an extender extender!😊 Thank you I am now connected up. You are a the 2.4thingy sorted it.
