Change DNS on Smart Hub

I have a simple problem: I cannot seem to change the DNS servers that the Smart Hub uses. Has anyone done this? The 'Advanced' settings are pretty poor, to be honest.

Yes, I have! Change your DNS to Manual on the Advanced / BB / Internet page & enter the 2 IPs of your preferred DNS.

The firmware on the Smart Hub appears different to the Bright Box. Under the advanced tab there seems to be only the ability to turn off DHCP. There are no options to update DNS settings.

Why are you looking at DHCP page? I instructed you to go to the BB / Internet page. Why are you constantly confusing DHCP with DNS? They are completely separate functions.

I'm guessing the diff is your other router runs its own DNS server whereas the EE SH does not have its own DNS server. All it has are IPs directed at real DNS servers on the WAN. I know of no generic consumer-grade router that runs its own DNS server.
